Whether your are a beta tester, or a regular user of GPS Log, if you are experiencing an issue that causes GPS Log to crash, you can provide invaluable information about this crash by sending us your crash logs.

First, sync your iPhone so that the crash logs are copied to your computer.

Then, navigate to the folder on your computer where the crash logs are stored. See this for reference.

Mac OS X : ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/MobileDevice/<DEVICE_NAME>
Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<USERNAME>\Application Data\Apple computer\Logs\CrashReporter/<DEVICE_NAME>
Windows 7 (& Vista): C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\Apple computer\Logs\CrashReporter/MobileDevice/<DEVICE_NAME>

For convenience, in Mac OS X, from finder select from the task bar: Go -> Go to Folder -> enter ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/MobileDevice/ then open the folder for the device in question.

In Windows, from the start menu's search box (or 'Run' tool), enter %APPDATA%\Apple computer\Logs\CrashReporter/MobileDevice/ then open the folder for the device in question. If instead you navigate from the root drive (C:), you may need to enable the option to show hidden files.

Send us all crash logs prefixed with GPSLog, or just send the most recent ones (last few days). On Mac, for convenience you can select all the logs you wish to send, right click and select "Compress x Items", then just email the resulting ZIP file.
