Google earth is a great way to view your spikes.

Adjusting the Google Earth Timeline Sliders

GPS Log adds a timestamp to every entry it exports. This is cool, because you can see your trip on the timeline.

Unfortunately however, when Google Earth initially loads, it sets the timeline so that you cannot see anything. Please adjust the timeline sliders in the top right to show all entries, as indicated in the image below.
